Orrville Christian Church

Orrville Christian Church needed more space to serve their children. We upgraded all exterior Children’s Wing windows, installed two exterior egress doors for preschool rooms, and added a sidewalk with a retaining wall. In addition, we upgraded lighting, ceilings, HVAC configuration, and existing room layouts. We also added a restroom, elevator, and wheelchair lift. These changes helped Orrville Christian Church give children a safe and fun place to learn.


Zimmer Surgical Manufacturing 

Zimmer Surgical Manufacturing needed an upgrade to their interior. We upgraded their offices, server room, equipment room, sterilization room, incubation area, and filing room with contemporary building practices so they could enjoy modern new construction without having to move buildings. 


Akron-Canton Airport 

WCC worked with SOL Harris Day Architects to remodel the interior terminal at Akron-Canton Airport. This included the TSA screening area, food court, eateries, and gift store. Upgrades included terrazzo flooring, relocations, and expansions of these areas. The airport is now better equipped to serve customers flying in and out, all with a new contemporary look.

One recent example of this type of healthy living facility construction with a greater purpose comes from our work on a new dining hall for Camp Because I Said I Would.  About Camp Because I Said I Would Camp Because I Said I Would has a distinct mission of empowering youth to make and keep promises, fostering leadership skills, and promoting personal growth. The organization strives to help youth build resiliency to face their challenges with a variety of workshops, character development experiences, and fun activities. As part of its continued growth, the camp found itself in need of a new dining hall that could foster community, provide nourishment, and support the overall camp experience for youth and staff.
